The orginal Rubicon Deli was created by Cheri Corsiglia in 1993 on the sunny West Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. It wasnt long before Rubicon's massive specialty sandwiches became a "must have" lunch for locals, visitors and bon vivants from around the world. Their reign of popularity lasted for over 15 years in the Tahoe area, and in 2008 Cheri teamed up with her son, Evan Corsiglia, to design and bulid a brand new location in Reno Nevada. Having cultivated his love for food and knack for restaraunt design, Evan was determined to take the deli above and beyond the Reno/Tahoe area. In 2009 he teamed up with two long time friends, and San Diego residents, Antonio Carasali and Oliver Lang to open thier own Deli in Mission Beach.

Rubicon is more then just a Deli its a place to see friends, make friends and be friends. Its an establishment to stop by and have a tea, a coffee, a Dom Pastram, a Moe, a Stallion or a salad alla Ceasar Cardini, catch up on the latest, read the paper, listen to some tunes,or watch a game. We are about the people the community and building something that will last much longer than a sandwich. We walk, ride or run to work applying our natrual energy to create the atmosphere. This concept has been years in the making, collecting ideas from the four corners of the world to right here in our own back yard. Our mission is to take this neighboorhood Deli to a neighboorhood near you.
